Dang.
It's cool to see that they put a lot of effort to make sure this port was as great as it could be.
"Just for comparison Uncharted 4 was 20x bigger than Splatoon 2. This shows the huge difference between Sony's first-party games and Nintendo's first-party games."

They also said the hardest area to port was Agniratha because of the Poly count. Which would actually explain why that was the most laggy area.
The replay doesn't show it, but I backed up until I fell off the track. Don't ask how I still won after that! xD

They should have another testfire that same day just to spite the inevitably flawed reviews! >;3

I'll have to do some digging.
Guys....Stretchmo's free-to-play model is genius. I've never said this about a F2P game, but it's true.
Basically, you download it for free and you're able to play like 7 levels for free. This is essentially your demo. Then, you get the option of purchasing different level packs outright. The biggest one (100 levels) costs $4.99, while the other three are smaller (50 levels each) and cost $2.99, but each have their own themes to them (such as NES characters, animals, etc.), or you can buy all the packs for a total of $9.99.
In my opinion, this is how all F2P games should be like. I got to experience the game, and now I have the option to purchase everything the game has to offer without timed lives or whatever. I'm actually considering buying the game now, lol.
So, Nintendo's E3 presentation is getting closer, just ONE month left, and that made me revisit our old Nintendo E3 threads.
In 2012's thread we were all aboard the hype train, literally. Everybody full of hope and optimism. But the journey ended...
not the way we hoped.
But all was forgiven and in 2013's thread, we were even more hyped! So much that we travelled to E3 in our own spaceship. Unfortunately, the landing was far from perfect.
With those past experiences in mind, last year we decided to calm down, leave hype at home and take a slower transport to enjoy the travel, so we decided to take a bus
And it was great!
So, who will make this year's Nintendo E3 thread? Smeags, Cone or someone new? And how will we get there this year?
My take is that given that all signs point to quiet E3 (no Smash, no Zelda, no NX), we should reserve any kind of exotic travel for next year and take a more calmed approach like last year. My idea is a transatlantic. It's big enough to fit us all perfectly, it's luxurious (because we deserve it) and the best part of all, if the E3 is great we can go to the bar to celebrate, and it is sucks... we can also go to the bar to try to forget!
What do you think?
Please excuse my bad English.
