Yeah, I can see why... it does look very similar, but if a company is making a new game, it is bound to copy something that was already made before..

You honestly think the developers heard of an obscure indie game that never got released?

And no, it doesn't look similar. Can't turn into a squid for one to dive into your ink. Can't superjump to your allies by tapping their location on the gamepad map.

This guy again...? I don`t know much about him, but I don`t think I would go to him to get an opinion on anything game related.

Although he does bring a point, they both do seem similar. I don`t really care either way. I just want to play this.

I agree that it's not right to say that Nintendo ripped off this game..

though from another point of view, the underlying gameplay and mechanics is undeniably similar, where you have a 3rd person shooter trying to cover as much turf as possible with your team colours.
Turing into squids and superjump are just add-on gimmicks..

that's why I understand why other's think like this

Yeah, that is definitely true. One seems to be executing the idea better than the other though, as well as better visual appeal.

Yeah I feel like New Leaf's userbase consist of 3 million males 5 million females based on the Island and Miiverse. Certainly a nice change of pace from all these male dominated forums. :L
