I know I see shantae and max from mutant muds. Not really sure on the rest

Looks like Samus Aran in the background. Her arm cannon is resting on her head.

Bottom left is the Stealth Inc. guy. The bottom right may be the Tengami guy. These should all be from Wii U eShop games

I love how indies are working together like that. Go indies! :D

Nintendo World Report has a really cool article on the (missed) potential of the gamepad.

Here's a quote - also used in gonintendo,com:

“If I want to make a game that supports local multiplayer, like Mario Kart, I can't at the same time make the controls depend on a lot of GamePad features. If I want to make a game that lets you continue play if the TV is turned off, like New Super Mario Bros., I can't make the gameplay be dependent on the GamePad either. I think that is why there hasn't been made a single game, even by Nintendo, where everything made sense as it just clicked for the system. You simply can't do everything at the same time.”

The article makes good points and we could even ask ourselves: should the gamepad make a return next generation?

Shovel Night is actually getting a 3DS retail release. At least it has a great box art.

Hope they make a Wii U version too. A bit pricey compared to the digital price but I would get the retail release.

Don't get your hopes up to big for this retail Shovel Knight. Devs are calling it a mis listing

Well that's a shame.

"Just for comparison Uncharted 4 was 20x bigger than Splatoon 2. This shows the huge difference between Sony's first-party games and Nintendo's first-party games."

So I don't know if anyone caught this about a week ago, but apparently Shin'en has tweeted that Fast Racing Neo is coming to E3, 2015 is the year of FAST!

I'm starting to feel a bit of hype.

Sega releasing some more 3D Classics on the 3DS (Sonic 2, Streets of Rage 2 and Gunstar Heroes). Space Harrier 3D was pretty well done so it might be worth it to check this out! There's going to be some new features (and modes) along too, which is neat.
