After they didn't release a Smash bundle, I reluctantly agree with you. They showed promise with MK8 and now Xenoblade, but most games are bundled far too late.

Well Nintendo isn't really trying to sell that many consoles. No price cuts, no bundles etc.
I think they are trying to get as much money out of it for now as possible.

They really need to do special editions. That alone could move a significant amount of hardware with not just new users, but old ones as well. Just look at the 3DS. A lot of people own at least two versions of that (some people own even more). We haven't even gotten a redesign of the Wii U or any special editions (outside the Wind Waker one, which just changed the gamepad) so there's a lot of untapped potential here.
Of course, bundling new games should just be obvious at this point, but we'll have to see what they do.
I don't really think Devil's Third will boost sales, regardless of a bundle....

Maybe not. But bundling it with a critically acclaimed (and also mature) game like Bayonetta could improve the image of the system, which would therefore have an indirect effect on sales. People wouldn't just think it's a Mario and Zelda machine when they see it on shelves. Same thing with Xenoblade.

Yeah, when put next to all the main Wii U games, it doesn't really match up with them, though i'm sure the more dedicated fans will buy it.

Well, if they had a Bayonetta bundle, even without Devil's Third, it would move some consoles :P
