Yeah it affects... Bly-ray players have this opitions too.

For example if your HDTV didn't support Full-RGB you need to put it off on PS4 for better image quality.

Watching footage from "that" guy... As a personal opinion, the PS4 version is superior; still, it is kind of annoying to see somehow washed out colours on maps asking for vibrant stuff (at least in the comparison videos). I wonder if 1 on 1 in 1080 (e.g. the new sport games) this sharpening trick will still be visible. Played the beta on the PC on a ~ 1.5 Tflop Gpu and it couldn't go over 720p decently.
