Forums - Sony - An EASY way for Sony to make the Vita more successful!!!

Stop making multiplatform games with the Ps3. A lot of games released this year simultaneously for Ps3 and Vita.

Some of these games like Dragon's Crown, Sly Cooper Theives in Time, PS All Stars Battle Royal, Sound Shapes, and a shit load of indie titles.

Now, none of these games sold especially well. I'm assuming with digital sales, none of them passed the million mark. However, they all did consistantly decent and probably earned a profit.

The problem lies that the Ps3 already had a lot of AAA games this year. From God of War, TLoU, Bioshock, and GTA5, games on the Ps3 was never an issue. It is an issue however, on the Vita. So for the Sony published games, why not make them exclusive on the Vita? If you're trying to earn the most sales possible, then yes it might be smart to release on both. But the Vita needs exclusive reasons to buy right now. It would be smart for Sony to make these games on available on Vita by putting more money out of their pocket, while also creating exclusive reasons to actually buy a Vita.

Thoughts?

I can't really say much about the Vita games library but almost every time i read about a game it is a game which is also available as retail game on PS3 or as indie game on PC and/or a console. So, at least without reading more about games like Gravity Rush it seems like a handheld to play games you also get for a platform many already own.

I am not really sure if this stops people to even think about a Vita and to read more about the probably also good library of exclusive games but it could be at least one reason.

I dont think Sony will bother with that anymore - their new message is Indies galore & PS4 connection - and occasionally we'll get a couple of big gems here and there.

There's one reason: Money

When you think my english is bad...sorry for my bad english,    i'm from Germany. And yeees, sorry, that we've almost destroyed the whole world, blahblahblah

Nintendo shifting development from the Wii to the 3DS and WiiU doesn't seem like a bad thing now, does it?

Two easy steps for Sony to make the Vita more successful!!!

1- Make games
2- Be more successful

They can't even stop making multiplatform games with the PSP. -_-

Another forum-goer that knows better than a multibillion company i see.

Yes, this sounds like a great idea!

Witch third party will accept to make exclusive game to Vita?

PS4 - over 100 millions let's say 120m
Xbox One - 70m
Wii U - 25m

Vita - 15m if it will not get Final Fantasy Kingdoms Heart and Monster Hunter 20m otherwise
3DS - 80m

But what about the people that don't like handhelds?

I feel remoteplay is the future.
