I swear these terms -- shovelware, "casual gamer," gimmick, to name a few -- have become meaningless. They're just labels applied to games, people, and accessories that we don't like.

What a strange mix of amazing and terrible games.  While they may appeal to a certain type of gamer, a number of those are definitely not worth playing.  There's some better hidden gems in the Wii's library!

I really wouldn't trade my Wii for anything. In fact, I refuse to even transfer my VC over to my WiiU for one simple reason: It's a tiny console that I can move to any TV in the house (independent of my WiiU that is connected to my big screen), that plays my entire Wii and Gamecube libraries along with a plethora of my favorite classics across seven different consoles in addition to some arcade favorites.

Many generations into the future, my Wii will remain the perfect little retro machine.

That's what I did, I bought one recently at $50 with Mario galaxy, resident evil cero, Zelda TP and Metroid prime 3.

But other than that, I agree. Awesome fighting game (Though Morrigan sucks as a character. I'm sorry, buddy, but she's just useless in this game).

I came within inches of buying a Wii for the RPGs. Then I was like, no, I'll just get a Wii U eventually, but ... well. The Wii U isn't where I thought it would be at this point. The other problem is that I'm hearing some of the Wii games I would like to play are hideously expensive.
