I often say that Nintendo is a lot more cut-throat than people like to believe, probably because they associate them with child-friendly products. The same is true for Disney, except Disney is like 800x more cut-throat.

Sounds like a good match.

Really, though, how many studios has Disney closed the moment they underperformed? Remember, Disney makes EA and Activsion, corporations that at least depend on gaming, look like Valve in terms of how much they actually care about this industry. Do people really want that?

This! They might have some similarities but that doesn't mean they should merge! I hope we never see the day it happens, Dinsey would butcher Nintendo franchises, Disney would never let Nintendo do what they want.
