Forums - Gaming - Question About The Y's Games

So I finally found a copy of Y's I and II Chronicles for a good price in mint condition and I'm pretty happy about that, just need to get Y's Ark of Napishtim and my PSP Y's collection will be complete.  I also saw Legacy of Y's: Books I and II for the DS so I was wondering are Legacy of Y's: Books I and II and Y's I and II Chronicles the same game or are they completely different?  Thanks.

It's Ys, not Y's. But Ys 1 and 2 on DS and Ys 1 and 2 Chronicles are technically the same game. They tell the same story, but the DS version has some meh looking 3D graphics(not too bad I guess) while the PSP version has some beautiful 2D graphics. Ys 1 and 2 Chronicles also lets you toggle music and character art between multiple versions.

Okay thanks, good thing I didn't buy the DS game.

You need to get yourself a Wii and download the original TG-16 versions of Ys Book I & II in all its glory.

You know I was always wondering why no one ever used the dollar sign for $ony, but then I realized they have no money so it would be pointless.
