Is it confirmed at 1080 60fps on PS4?



I was walking down along the street and I heard this voice saying, "Good evening, Mr. Dowd." Well, I turned around and here was this big six-foot rabbit leaning up against a lamp-post. Well, I thought nothing of that because when you've lived in a town as long as I've lived in this one, you get used to the fact that everybody knows your name.

I would much rather have a game that looks f'n amazing running at 720p with higher details, crisper textures and better effects then a game running at 1080p that looks like that ps4 cod ghost video they showed. It truly looks horrible.

Wow Titanfall too. That's an even bigger surprise than COD. Especially with Titanfall running on the Source engine.

Even the main starter of this rumor says it is incredibly flimsy and weak. I read the original rumor. It was made by one gamer who supposedly was invited to some elite first hand experience with CoD Ghosts and claims the Xbox One version looked like 720p with no justification or evidence whatsoever. You would not be able to tell it was 720p or 1080p just from playing it. From the rumor itself, it sounded like the gamers were offered no special info about the game and had to choose a version to play.

But of course, NeoGaf makes any stretch of a rumor look like 100% fact and unfortunately other sites/gamers run away with it as well.

I don't think a game like CoD which everyone is saying looks just like current gen but with higher res, would ever NOT be 1080p. As others have said, if it can be 1080p on Wii U, well, there's absolutely nothing to worry about.

Did you know ps4 only supports a 2.4 wireless signal?

The xbox one supports a wireless adapter capable of 2.4 - 5.0ghz.

The ONLY next gen console to do so.

Agree 100%, but that tweet by Albert leaves a little doubt in my head.

Yes, in the same article from June that confirms it is 1080p on the Xbox One.

It´s hard to people to understand that just because the IGN feed was 1080p that the games would be NATIVE 1080p or in any other platform isn´t. I wouldn´t be surprised if both PS4 and One are 900p and upscaled...

This rumor is debuncked. The guy that started it was has posted a sorefull note that gafers are ignoring.

The power gap (if there is one) won´t be shown in the resolution, but in effects and some textures.
