Why do you think they should shut it down?

They only offer us the tracker and they are a private tracker so it´s impossible for them to follow up on all torrents.

Do you think a free public tracker for all Internet users should be shut down because othere missuse it?

I don´t think that is fair even if their name immplies piracy, as long as they don´t brake the law and offer a public tracker i think it´s wrong to shut them down or drag them into court and I find it outrageous that it´s corporations of another country pushing for their law to apply in Sweden.

I also think that this kind of thing underscores the need for global laws that are reasonable wich we will never get if theese corporation continue to push and get their will through.

I think a site like The piratebay is more of a benefit for the end user then it is negative.

I have nothing against people pirating, I've downloaded some tv shows and anime in the past so I would be a hypocrite if I bashed people for it, but I think The Pirate Bay is a very real and dangerous threat to many companies.

The site is now ranked 136 for popularity on Alexa and it'll likely break into the top 100 before long. It's gaining users at an alarming rate and I think if it's allowed to continue that it will eventually force Sweden as well as many other countries to clamp down hard on piracy and end up hurting everyone's freedom and privacy on the Internet.

We have it very good on the Internet and unfortunately like everything else a few idiots are going to push and take things too far and ruin it for everyone.

This is so sad that so small ammount of people care about this when it´s so important for all of us.

Who cares, torrents are for people who don't understand or can afford usenet anyway.

Do torrent sites still work with those gay ass ratios, or is pirate bay that slow site with torrents hardly exceeding 50 KB a second?

sorry, but the faster the pirate bay gets ridden of, the better. They support piracy, despite being written otherwise on the policy.
