i really wanna know about the 3ds reviews since that will be the one ill be getting, the fact that its so close to release and we've seen nothing worries me.

but if the game sucks you're out of 40-50 bucks

welcome to old school gaming, when games not known become great because u try it without any expectations made before.

thats not true, cause there have always been reviews, you just had to read them in a magazine.

The 3DS version is also "half tested" on this website because the review mentions the WiiU and 3DS version.  So the pros and cons  at least also talk about the 3ds game.

The only thing I dont like  about the 3ds game is the cheap "leave 1 platform ->  Sonic randomly flying around somewhere with no relation to were he left the other platform with strange camera cut, and dropping onto the next platform totally ignoring Sonics flying animation or speed or the direction he came from" its not even half as seamless as in the WiiU version.

I support your decision. In fact I didn´t check reviews for nearly a decade (2006). The bigger sites are often influenced too much by the publishers and advertising and the really smaller ones are often run by kids and people with a certain agenda/bias.

After so many years of seeing mediocre games getting 9s and 10s and smaller games beeing ridiculed with the exception of the newly found love for smartphone games in the last few years due to the ios hype, they completely lost any good will.

Also after so many years and beeing more a gameplay-gamer than a graphic-whore/QTE-movie fan I can gauge if I´ll like a game by seeing gameplay videos and the knowledge about the teams responsible for the games quite well.

It seems to have gotten all 9s from famitsu so looking good so far i cant wait to get it on friday.
