The team that made DMC1 are the same team that made Bayonetta. They're all now at Platinum Games. The only person that worked on DMC1 that's not at Platinum Games is the producer, Hiroyuki Kobayshi. He's still at Capcom and that's why Kamiya is telling us to tweet him.

I didn't know this!! Thanks. Although, that's kinda sad. What happened to the teams that made the first three RE games? Are they all gone too? No wonder Capcom slid so far. All their talent left.

Platinum is a 2 project developer. The team working on W101 is now free to work on something else. Though with that said, they are likely already assigned to either a new project or Bayonetta 2.
