Sorry maybe they should dumb the commercials down some to reach the average joe. I just think Sony thinks better over their customers. And if someone did get lost, maybe they'll hit the internet to find out what it was about it. 

Do you have a degree in marketing? 

Answer the questions.  Do you think this commercial was reaching people who already hasnt heard about the PS4?  If so do you think they understood the references?  Do you think that this actualyl shows what the PS4 is capable of in any shape or form?  Why would this commercial excite a person who has never played these games?

I am a huge fan of Sony, and I usually treat everything they do like the second coming of Christ, but I have to agree with Jay here. This add had the wrong focus. I mean... show some damn games and gameplay, not just references the uninformed does not get. This add does nothing to inform people about what the PS4 can do. Forum-dwellers like us already know what we want, so no point in making adds for us. I dont need Sony to advertise their products, but the average joe does, and this add will make no sense to the average joe.

Not sure why every commercial needs to explain every little detail at once.  We knew what was going on. So what if you sister doesn’t. Honestly that not what this commercial was about. Sometimes commercials like this can strike interest in a product, and lead people to seek out information. When people go looking for it the spend more time with getting info than the 30 second time frame could ever give them. This is just a start in the beginning of a marketing campaign. Don’t worry, they’ll have commercials your sister can understand. 

The average Joe that will be able to pick up the Ps4 launch week without a pre-order... oh wait... lol the complaints are hilarious.
