Wow i guess I bought a great idea to the thread, now didn't I ? ;P

Sony is considering PS4/Vita Bundle anyways, so that's a start. I'm almost close to getting a 3DS after not getting a nintendo console in over 7 years. I'm slowly reaching my breaking point. U_U

Hahaha :O (That was a good one LOL.)

In all seriousness I guess you're right.

Yep, Nintendo showed us how ruthless can be in the handheld market they don't fuck around they keep punching the poor Vita with no rest

-Dat price cut

-Dat Monster Hunter exclusivity

-Dat XL version

-Dat 2DS

-Dat first party that doesn't go down in quality one inch

Don't feel bad, sony could never compete in the handheld market, after all nintendo has crushed every competitor in that segment so go get a 3DS. BTW gamers chase games not platforms if you know what I mean. ;)

you have to do the same Sony did. Just give up Vita

I don't ever want to give up Vita. I have it and I'll buy whatever games that interest me. I might even buy a 3DS for my favorite franchises which are Pokemon, Kirby and maaaybe Mario. For Vita I'm just worried that it won't reach its full potential and that's a shame because it's such a fantastic handheld :(

Yup. In fact, PS Vita TV could be bundled with PS3 and PS4. 2 consoles in one box, sharing the same controller, same HDMI cable, same PS+ subscription.

100M lifetime Vita and above 3DS confirmed. You heard here first.

100 million would not be enough to beat the 3DS.

Also, that's an insane sales figure for essentially a bundled peripheral. It would be outrageous for a bundle like that to sell 50 million, never mind double that.

Source?

I agree with the PS4/VitaTV bundle though for like $500 - it makes sense considering the fact the vita TV is $99 right? (Although if you think about it...it is also kinda dumb because if you buy it separately its the same cost l0l).

Games and a actual decent price cut for the memory cards is needed. Everything else about the hardware is fine even with the revisioned 2000 series.

Europe: It wont.

US: It might pick up a little with more AAA titles, but it won't overall succeed.

Japan: RPG's. Lots and lots of RPG's, and itt'l have the market back.

I <3 Classic Platformers!

Multi-console Owner FTW

For Europe, the proper marketing (lol! I know I know!) of Football Manager Vita would shift a lot of units. It's the only full fat portable version of a massively popular game and fully compatible with the PC/Mac versions meaning for the first time, you can take your main game anywhere.

You always see people playing the massively cut back iOS/Android ports on the train. I seriously think the first full fat mobile experience (inc 3D match engine) would actually make a lot of people consider getting a Vita especially when they're cheaper than the 3DS in Europe now.

RIP Dad 25/11/51 - 13/12/13. You will be missed but never forgotten.
