Holy dam the entire build up and climax with Team Flare is amazing (music is yum as well).

Catching Yveltal took some time-ish.

Sent out Sylveon to resist them dark attacks and it basically became a stall war.

I would Draining Kiss, it would Oblivion Wing, so we kept healing but I was edging out in damage.

Once I got him in the yellow I went for a Moon Blast and got him with a sliver of health left and got him in 1 ultra ball.....

I'm actually quite impressed with this game's pacing. XY is full of content, whether it be story arcs, areas to explore (easily one of the most improved areas with 3D graphics), and insane diversity of Pokemon to catch. Only have the 4th badge, but I already feel like I've been on quite the adventure.

You really need to put emphasis on the Insane part . I'm still on route 11 and I've captured more than 90 pokes. It really has put a dent on my economies as all my monies are going to either Poke Balls, Great Balls or Paralyze Heals (there's a lot of electric types with either Static or that damn annoying 100% paralyze Nuzzle).

So true. Right now I'm just focused on catching the brand new Pokemon from Gen VI, and later when Pokemon Bank opens I'll send in all my Pokemon from Black 2 (currently have every basic/legendary Pokemon waiting to be traded over. )

Also, having wild Wobbuffet appear in Reflection Cave is truly evil. Shadow Tag + Destiny Bond = Annoyed Smeags. >:(

Shhhh, don't make me fear the Reflection Cave, that's my next destination, once I finally get a horde of Stunkies to appear. >_<.

I'm gonna catch as most as I can to cut back on the pokes that I need to trade over. I need to see Deoxys in glorious 3D (glorious, yet annoyingly frame-dropy >_>).

I've never been one to be that cognizant of frame drops, but I've noticed 'em a few times in XY. Especially during a horde battle.

And an NPC already mentioned Deoxys to me (I believe it was in the fossill lab?). But I'm sure he'll look sweet. The 3D rendering and animations have really brought these Pokemon to life in a way that Sprites could never do (Sorry sprites, I still love you). Even Pokemon that I didn't care for before look fantastic.

Also, I LOVE that Delphox kept her wand. So amazing that she pulls it out of her sleeve ala Harry Potter. Smiling as I'm thinking about it.

Sadly I notice them quite a lot, sometimes it slows down below half the usual frame rate, so I play mostly with the 3D off. 

I agree with you there, the 3D animations are some of the best I've seen and it really makes the whole franchise completely different (for the better). It's like playing Red/Blue for the first time all over again.

And now I really want my Delphox >_<.

I think i'm gonna stick with Azurill over Panpour. Despite being almost obsessed with the concept of "Pikablu" way back when, i've never yet bothered with the Marill line.

Very solid choice. My Azumarill is tanky, does quite a bit of damage, and has a very nice typing combination. It also levels up quite fast
