We recently had a chance to speak to Witch Beam designer Sanatana Mishra, currently working on Assault Android Cactus for the PlayStation 4.

Gaijin Entertainment, the developers of War Thunder recently claimed that the PS4’s GPU is 40% more powerful than the Xbox One. So we made sure to ask about the console’s GPU and whether it’s eased out the number of things you can do on screen in the game.

“From a pure tech perspective it’s undeniable that the PS4 GPU will make it the most powerful console in the world and for us that means we can turn on every visual flourish we want while keeping a smooth & responsive 60fps. We’re focused on every version running at 60fps including Vita, frame rate is king.”

How many characters will Assault Android Cactus have, and what special abilities and skills will they possess? Sanatana responded, “There will be a roster of 8 playable androids, 4 of which have to be unlocked throughout the campaign. Each one has a unique primary & secondary weapon that create their play style, and we’re considering other stat changes to separate them even further.”

As of now, Assault Android Cactus’s is expected to release in early 2014.

Awesome. If what they say is true, I cant wait to see their game. It must blow Forza 5 and Ryse out of the water.

Anyone got any screenshots or video? Are they better developrs than Guirella Games?

Strange how Killzone only has 30fps for single player and Drive club is 30fps if the PS4 is as powerfull as is being made out how come all games arent 1080p 60fps ?

Im being genuine.

This dev says 60 fps is a piece of cake on PS4. Guirilla games KZSF is 30 fps in singleplayer. So this dev must be way better and have a game that blows 60fps Foza 5 away.

Or is this just a silly dev saying a silly thing?

This is just lip service...

The devs are making a PS4 exclusive so they will praise the hardware (obviously)

...and 60fps are a design decision, the WiiU has even more 60fps games than XBone and PS4 with significantly less power under the hood.

You are right that the article shouldn´t be taken very seriously though
