Monster hunter is a good series to try if ur bored with nintendo games.. It prolly could pass as a nintendo game though

Well folks, it looks like my prayers were finally answered. Pokemon X/Y looks glorious. Just finished watching the IGN review and after hearing of all the improvements and additions...... I am completely Sold. It sucks tho because now I have to go out and buy another console :/. I have been quite satisfied with PS3/PSP/ and Vita this generation and with the almost sure bet of Ninty following previous trends of only incrimental upgrades, I thought I was free. Now I have to find a way to fit a 3DS in my budget somewhere. So for all those in the know, where Can I get a basic 3DS? Or in general the cheapest one I can find as it will basically be my Pokemon machine (maybe Bravely Default somewhere down the line). I live in the US btw. I do know of the 2DS and that would probably ideal for me if it wasn't so damn ugly and less portable :/. |
don't worry if it is ugly or not, you want to play the game and it has to fit your budget not your eyes. Get a 2DS., besides it still won't be your prefered console.
It's the gateway drug. You'll start with the handheld and Pokemon and before you know it, you'll be wearing two hollowed out Gamecubes on your feet like shoes. I've seen it. Don't do it.

Well, both games were kinda derived from Fire Emblem, actually, but in a way, you could sum it up like that.
As my profile picture suggests, I'm a huge fan of the series, so naturally I suggest you give it a try. I seem to remember that there is a demo for Awakening on the eShop, you should definitly try it out when you get yourself a 3DS.

2ds has no clam, simply because it is more durable for small kids and parents love it.
The 3DS is for big boys apparently lol.
If i were you I would go to a shop and test out the 2DS and see if it suits you. Worth a shot as its like $100 cheaper.

What does Dynasty Warriors'ing mean?
If I think it means what it does. "just small graphics upgrade each game" then you are dillusional.
Seriously just look at the big games of Nintendo.
1. Zelda - these games are all so different from each other, not only in graphics, but controls, items, art style, ect that its not even funny. So can't be Zelda's fault.
2. Mario - lets look at its games. 64, Sunshine, Galaxy, Galaxy 2, 3Dworld. Really the only ones that are similar are galaxy 1 & 2. and those 2 seem to be the most praised in the series. Well unless you want ot talk New super mario bros, but those are only 2 games. Doubt you would boycott of just those two games, especially since it wouldn't be dynasty warrrior until the second game came out. So can't be Mario's fault.
3. Hmm i'm bored. Don't feel like doing anymore. Better to just get you to bring them up, since you would know instead of me guessing.
REAL REASON
Your a cheap ass pirate that can't get his pirated version of X/Y because the 3DS is not hacked yet. Normally you would have an emulated pokemon you can play for FREE by the time the game is stateside. Now you can't and have none in forseeable future, thus you HAVE to buy the game.
Sorry if I dont' feel sorry for you.
