Yeah waaay too high. The PS4 will sell 1 - 1.5 mil tops. Which is still record breaking for Sony. |
1.5M is probably about how much was pre-ordered already.

Their are not enough consoles, I am happy that atleast this time we can pre order it. The PS2 launch with his limited stock was horrible;.Fights everywhere in Europe.

6.5 is probably over 600% too high. Even if they had 6.5 to sell, which they wont, they wouldnt push their entire stock the first week. A more realistic first week prediction would be between 600k to 1.5 mil.
It seems like you are thinking there will be no supply problems at all. When a console launches, deman always far exceeds supply. Both the x1 and ps4s sales for the first 3 to 6 months will be based pretty much enitrely on how much consoles they can make, not how many people want them. If you are predicting the x1 launch to be 1/6th of the ps4 launch, you are going to be wrong.

Exactly. And there won't be many if any systems sitting around for sale after the first two days for at least a week or two. Even then the stck wil be very limited.
PS4: 2.2-2.7 million (3 million if absolute max)
Xbox One: 0.83-1.1 million (1.4 million max)

What the fuck...
Too high. I think their target is like 4.5 - 5m systems by march 14.
