Forums - PC - Is it worth upgrading to a HD 7770 for £5 extra over a HD 7750?

quick question:

ive pulled out my HD 5670 and bought a HD 7750

they had a HD 7770 for just £5 more but i refrained due to it needing an extra power 6 pin plug which i dont have. i have x1 free molex left from my PSU which  was a stock one that came with the case 500w, ive read that stock PSU arnt upto the job of fitting a card like a HD 7770? also ive read its unwise to use a molex to 6pin converter etc

anyone to advise as i have a window of tomorrow to make a return if needed!!! is it worth the upgrade or am i ok to stick with my current HD 7750?

thanks

Obviously one would need to know the rest you have in your pc but a 500W ps is more than enough for a pc with a 7770 so go for it.

You made a mistake, for only 5 more it's definitely worth it.

just checked lol, my mobo wont allow the 7770 to be fitted, i mean it will slot in but will clash with sata cables etc due to the 7770 card being quite bulky. im using a micro atx. so il keep the 7750 for now

cheers
