So as you can see next year does not look empty at all... even if you're talking exclusives. It's like you've never heard of Halo or Titanfall, inFamous or The Order, those are just the biggest names for One/PS4 exclusives in 2014, there are a lot more. |
If there's a lot more - just tell me the names! I was able to easily show you at least 4 big exclusive games for WiiU for next year. Do the same for PS4 (or X1), please!

Graphics are about inline with current gen, slightly superior to in some regards (resolution) inferior in others (constant framerates seem to be a challenge), the console is just kind of half-assed. Kind of sucks that it's the newest console out right now and still gets the worst version of most games. |
You had a completely different console back then.
Back then being 2 weeks ago? The update didn't change that much, I used it yesterday. Still has an inexcusably sluggish menu, still has few worthwhile games (the praise Wonderful 101 is unfounded, Wind Waker is still Wind Waker, Pikmin 3 was alright.)
Its definitly the best offer from the 3, at the moment.
And i lol at the people saying Wii U has the same graphics as current gen and act like the new consoles dont. Sorry, but its pretty much the same all around.

Don't act like the Wii U is a next gen console like PS4/X1, we know it's not the case. It's a PS360... problem is PS360 have more games and are less expensive.

The problem with it is most of the Wii U stuff that is comparable to current gen has been rushed. The graphics are sharper and a little more detailed, but the engines are unoptimized and don't run as well as their 360 and PS3 counterparts. That will change in the future, but a lot of damage has already been done.
Oh sorry I read that wrong, thought you said you sold it 10 months ago^
Im sorry but its OS/UI interface are still faster than the PS3/Xbox 360 man. You cant push that crap.
The Wonderful 101 is still the best action game since forever. The only complaint I can give for it is the fact that is the isometric camera in some levels causes you to fall off the screen if you dont move fast enough. Otherwise I can keep up with everything. Mostly due to the fact that I play RTS's alot.
(Other people complain about how some of the levels haves shmup/genre switch sessions , when they want to practice their combos(I just use misison mode. Others are simply lost when it comes to interacting with the environment puzzles)
Framerates are rarely an issue in Nintendo's games. Thats been the problem with the WiiU. It didnt have Nintendo games.

Does that mean ur skipping PS4/One for the time being as well? |
truth is i dont like buying systems at launch, period. BUT the PS4 right now has more games announced that im interested in than Wii U has and thats just the basic truth. Im more interested in the new Killzone than anything WIi U has coming this holiday or even the near future wiht the possible exception SSB(but im not expecting that for a while and if the 3ds version is going to be the same thing...might not even get the Wii U). new Infamous, Final Fantasy 15, and Kingdom Hearts 3. Thats 4 games already and hte system isnt even out. im not expecting the last two anytime soon however.
For the Wii U we got Mario Kart 8 and honestly after the rush job that was 7 im gonna hold on to my money, Mario Kart isnt really the game that i would buy a system for i would buy it cause i have the system already. SSB as i said i dont expect that anytime soon and after Brawl im gonna really wait and we still dont know if the 3ds version will be the same or a different game cause if its the same then i see no reason to get the WIi U for it. and then Zelda which again wont be out for a while. Right now its looking like if i was to buy a system it woudl be PS4 then Wii U then Xbone

Regardless, if I didn't, I would have to say no because all the Wii-U titles listed are either terrible or just meh, with the exception of Pikmen 3. Problem is, I've never played a Pikmen in my life, nor do I care to. I look foward to Killzone SF and Knack, because they just look great, PS4 is at least 5X as powerful than Wii-U (at only $50 more), and there's actually games to look foward to within the next year. Granted X does does look pretty awesome, but we still don't even have a launch window for that yet, and the new Smash looks way too identical to Brawl minus the awesome Story Mode. Seems pretty half assed so far, and just doesn't look like it's going to be that great. Besides those 2, what else does Wii-U really have coming? MK8? Yet another Mario that just introduces a cat suit? I'll pass. The Order + Infamous SS + everything coming from Sony's first party completely destroys the Wii-U. Sorry bro, just an honest opinion. |
Well. Your opinion is noted. There are these people who hate Studio Ghibli productions, and i understand such filth can never be redeemed. Just play whatever you want.
That said, I didn't buy WiiU at launch so I guess its hard for me to understand your point of view.
