God of War 4 is the "critical" project.

Critical because if it doesn't sell well it will be the last one.

Good developers, but as someone who thinks just about every single stylish action game is better than the God of War games, I think Sony Santa Monica is extremely overrated.

They are more then 1 team, Sony won't ignore god of war on PS4. I hope they try something new with the series though,

You're entitled to your opinion, but no, god of war is by far the best of it's genre, although it needs a reboot or something different now. Overrated? they are amongst the most talented in the industry.  Their games have an epic feel very few franchises come close to.

So they need to reboot the series into an incredibly boring and overrated game?  I don't think God of War needs a reboot to be successful with that.

If you don;t like GOD of war you are in the minority, why are you even in this threaD? Boring is the last thing GOW is.

Because the thread isn't about God of War.  The thread is about Sony Santa Monica hiring for a critical project and unannounced title.
