the reason almost nobody picked mario kart is because who ever has a 360 picked gta4 (for 360) who ever has a ps3 picked gta4 (for ps3) and whoever has a wii picked brawl. people pick the game to which they have a console and if there is more than 1 game then they pick the game that they think is gonna sell more between the two. but in fact mario kart will probably sell more than gta4 for each console seperately due to the fact that it will be out longer and the fact that nintendo has sold more wiis than 360s or ps3s.

Mario Kart 64 - 9.87 mil                                            GTA:san Andreas - 15.24 mil

Mario Kart DS -  9.49 mil                                           GTA: Vice City - 14.20 mil

Super Mario Kart - 8.76 mil                                       GTA III - 11.60 mil

As you can see,Historically ever since gta III,A true gta sequel has outsold a mario kart everytime...why would this change?

the real question is "will super smash bros brawl sell more than gta4 for ps3 and 360 combined?"

 itll be closer,but honestly...no,Its grand Theft Auto...
