Not sure of the rough numbers but mine are going down. Mine also went down last year. Looks like Obamacare put some fear into my insurance since premiums are going down.
It's just that simple.

I currently pay nothing. I go to the doctor s needed (usually clinics that operate on a pay scale). I am getting married this December so I will be covered under my wife's plan through her work, and still pay nothing. Which is great for me, but I still dislike the law and feel it is going to cause more problems than help them.

Well what will happen when the government mandates generous minimum levels of health benefits? Well, simply fewer full time jobs will be offered, but more part time jobs will be available, so workers won't be as good at their jobs as they were previously, and we'll also have more employers offering contract labor - which also isn't good bc fewer people will pay taxes.
Obamacare is rediculous, he's screwing over the poor.

Well said!
Covered under my parents, and recently got a letter from my $7.70/hr part time job regarding health insurance (amazing what a union will do for jobs like that), so likely i'll never have to deal with this sort of thing.

Monster Hunter: pissing me off since 2010.
I paid Zero before and I'll pay Zero now. Due to the expansion of medicaid, in my state, I'm now signed up for free healthcare starting 1/1/14. Awaiting final approval.

Up until the 1950s, Americans used a fee-for-service model. But by 1958 75% of Americans had Health Coverage, mostly through employers. Obamacare, or the ACA as I call it because I hate that name, makes it illegal for individuals earning McDonalds wages (and above) to live without purchasing Health Coverage. The ACA also makes it illegal for employers to hire full time employees without giving them Health Coverage. The ACA also expands government Health Coverage (Medicaid) to cover people without jobs. Half of our state governments have rejected this expansion causing our central government to withhold all Medicaid funds from rejectionist states. The ACA is supposed to make Health Coverage offer certain services that were denied to ppl who had expensive needs however, because of the language in the ACA, services can still be denied.
In short: a healthy single adult who makes more than $15,000 a year will have to release 2.9 - 9.5% of his income a year on Health Coverage.
