How large is the Xbox One’s Day One update? How long will it take to install?

Does every single multiplayer game on Xbox One, regardless of developer or publisher, get dedicated servers because of the cloud? Or is it still a game-by-game thing?

WHITTEN: Every title can take advantage of our cloud services. Think of it as a tool in the toolbox for our developers to drive their vision and our goal is to make it easy and simple for them to do so.

Do you guys plan to update the dashboard once or sometimes twice a year as you currently do with the Xbox 360?

WHITTEN: Yes. Like we have done with Xbox 360, we will continue to learn from what customers want and love to iterate on the best dashboard experience.

Will Twitter/Facebook return on Xbox One?

WHITTEN: We continue to work with great partners to bring the best app experiences to Xbox One. While I can’t comment on the specifics of these two partners right now, at launch you will be able to access Twitter and Facebook through the Internet Explorer web browser on Xbox One at launch.

Will a rechargeable battery pack be offered for the controller?

WHITTEN: Yes! The Play and Charge kit includes a rechargeable battery and micro-USB cable, with a charging indicator light. It will be available at launch for $24.99.

I want to know how the setup works if your tv has an inbuilt settop box!!!!

I wonder if Sony worked out some timed exclusivity deal with Facebook/Twitter. M$ was quick to jump on that with 360. Now they are dodging the issue.

More than likley just not had time to add it yet. I wouldnt be surprised if Sony hasnt either. I dont expect either of these consoles to launch with all the apps the current ones have. 

Heck, I was wondering if they will support even Direct TV. They don't mention it anywhere in their stuff.

Isn't DirectTV a separate tuner?  Does it use HDMI? Then it should, and you should be use your voice to change the channels.

Yes, it's HDMI and a seperate tuner.  It's just that they always just say that they support cable.  With so many millions of Satellite people out there, I would think they would talk about it.  The XB1 has an IR blaster, but does it do RF?  The remote system for Direct TV is RF.  Maybe that's why they don't bring it up.

There are 2 360s in the flat I live and about 8 controllers... Batteries are the biggest issue and pain in the ass. The very fact that they can be seperated from the controller (whether they be rechargable or not) just makes chaos everywhere. I fucking hate it.

Wait, I don't understand what this means. It doesn't come with a rechargeable battery in the XO box? That can't be right, can it? Or is this just a replacement if needed?
