New Ratchet & Clank collection + Into the Nexus release date announced for Japan

While only a vague release date of ‘Holiday 2013′ currently exists for Ratchet & Clank’s latest adventure, Into the Nexus, it looks like a release date may have finally been locked down for its Japanese launch.

Amazon.co.jp and several other Japanese retailers have recently added new listings for the upcoming ‘ Ratchet & Clank Ginga Saikyo Tristar Pack’ which will be released on December 12, 2013 featuring Into the Nexus, QForce & Quest for Booty, the latter two previously only available via PSN in Japan. With the Japanese launch date set, hopefully Into the Nexus will launch either sooner or simultaneously in with Japan for other regions including the US and EU.

Update : We have been informed by Insomniac that Ratchet & Clank: Nexus will be seeing a physical release in Europe, the same as in the US but there are currently no plans for this new collection to be released outside of Japan.

As a side note, I would totally buy that Collection if it came to the west. Looks nifty, and I own all the games separately but would much rather have them all on one disk.

the collection will be released in the west.

Ratchet is a lot bigger in the west than in japan(though it is pretty succesful there for a western game)There is no need to localise the games .(i still hope th hd ratchet(and sly) collection to b released on vita.

I would also dig that collection even though I already have digital version of Quest for Booty. They need to officially announce it though, cause if I'll buy Nexus, and I plan on doing that day one, I won't double dip only to get Q Force.

Btw. Kresnik you should start making some hype threads, R&C Nexus looks like another great game that will go under the radar and underperform :-/

So it is happening...PS4 preorder.
