I think it will be a solid console with some good first party games. However like the Wii, Multiplat games will be for the most part better on other consoles. I dont believe WiiU will see anywhere near the success of the Wii but it will do ok for its self.

This, nothing special but not too shabby either.

Under my TV, next to my Steam machine :P

In all seriousness, I see the Wii U having decent sales, turning a profit for Nintendo, and delighting its owners with a steady supply of awesome first-party software.

As far as games (not sales) go, I see it where the Wii was either in 2010 or 2011. 2010 was a good year for Wii software with Mario Galaxy 2, DKCR, and Kirby's Epic Yarn, and was actually the year its total software sales peaked. 2011 was the Wii's last big year, with support fading as Nintendo prepared its next console for launch, and sales falling as a result.

We already know Nintendo has some heavy-hitters lined up for next year, and I trust they have a great 2015 in the works, as well. 2016 is a big unknown. How will the Wii U sell in that time? Will Nintendo want to continue supporting it for another year, or will they let it go as they prepare to launch new hardware in 2017? I can't answer these questions. I'll have a better idea after the upcoming Holidays.

Yeah pretty much. Nintendo has too many Ip's they can use for it. ( Even the dead ones like Hotel Dusk that Cing made or Battalion Wars/ Operation Rainfall trilogy, ice climbers, ect Next Level Games and Retro will be working round the clock)
Would be nice if it could get some more awesome fighting games and survival horror on it.

The indie catalogue just keeps growing and growing too

I see it in my entertainment center still next to my Ps4.

"Games are a trigger for adults to again become primitive, primal, as a way of thinking and remembering. An adult is a child who has more ethics and morals, that's all. When I am a child, creating, I am not creating a game. I am in the game. The game is not for children, it is for me. It is for an adult who still has a character of a child."

You can say that again. It's been a while since there was a healthy stable of fighters on a Nintendo platform. You probably have to go back to SNES. I guess you could argue N64 wasn't half bad, with Killer Instinct Gold, Fighters Destiny, and Mortal Kombat 4, plus a few others.

More survival horror would be great too, not just on Wii U but in general.

Also Ace Attorney and Trauma Center, I love Trauma Center on DS

My grammar errors are justified by the fact that I am a brazilian living in Brazil. I am also very stupid.

Pretty much like the Gamecube. Except this time the multiplats will be a fair amount worse rather than slightly better so might actually do a bit worse.

Unless the Wii U becomes grouped with the 7th gen, in which case it will be just like the Gamecube with slightly better multiplats. It might also be about to be replaced in 3 years.

In all cases, it will get the usual great 1st party games so I'm not bothered.
