But... I thought it was only the Sony guys who went to the "opposing console" threads to ruin them with their negativity...

Yeah I too always thought a certain fan base was incapable of being negative towards another fan bases product. I don't understand how this is possible, maybe someone should make a thread of it, and than another and another.

it's more like, meh they dont get modded, well fuck that then .... Payback time

Instead of seeking to convince others, we can be open to changing our own minds, and seek out information that contradicts our own steadfast point of view. Maybe it’ll turn out that those who disagree with you actually have a solid grasp of the facts. There’s a slight possibility that, after all, you’re the one who’s wrong.

More or less people report others for the wrong reasons, report the right people for the right reasons and it shouldn't be an issue.

They aren't using true dedicated servers, damage and such being on the players console means lag switch abuse will still work.

Can you list games that calcules damage and hits on the server? And Battlefield 3 do that on the client side.

BF3 hit detection is awful, is why you get shot after making it to cover/round a corner.   Sadly a lot of modern games are doing this because the servers are cheaper and it lets people with bad internet compete by compensating for them, at the cost of worsening the experience for those with good internet.

It's better than P2P by far, but is still crap compared to server side (for people with good internet).

I did some fast search in games documentation about the server side... I found CSS example of a game that calculates on the server side... the other do that on the client side or there is no released documentation at all.

I think most games do that in client side but I can be wrong.

MS has been laughable with regards to the terms they've spun. smh

LMAO At "Real dedicated servers". It is either dedicated servers or not.. First it was, "MS has dedicated servers'< now it's but Ms has REAL dedicated servers hahaha. Please post proof sony doesn't have "REAL"dedicated servers........

Who in this thread ever posted that Sony doesn't have "REAL" dedicated servers? Killzone 2 and Killzone 6 don't use dedicated servers for actual gameplay. That's what people are saying. Sony makes more games than just Killzone 2 and Killzone 6. MAG, SOCOM Confrontation, SOCOM 4, Resistance games, Motorstorm games, etc etc. I hope that helped.
