I think the ones in the stores right now are from the last batch of disks that had the glitch. One of my friends bought it recently and had the same issue so yeah.

Just got a big yellow envelope, with a "Disc Mailer" (AKA flat, mini-cardboard coffin) You have to MAIL IN THE DISC FIRST X_X (I personally find this unreasonable)

Also, you have to mail it in before August 31, 2008.

Luckily I have 2 copies to alternate (If the second one has the sound problem. I haven't opened it yet, so I really don't know. I will try to post the full version later.

We understand  that some consumers have not been able to enjoy the full audio output in the

Wii version of Guitar Hero (R) III: Legends of Rock. Activision has worked with Nintendo to re-

master the game and provide a replacement disc to consumers with Dolby digital surround

sound and other consumers experiencing audio issues.

To recieve a replacement disc for the Wii version of Guitar Hero (R) III: Legends of Rock you

must do the following:

1. Complete this form.

2. Mail this claim form laong with your Guitar Hero (R) III: Legends of Rock disc in the enclosed pre-paid disc mailer to the pre-printed address no later than August 31, 2008.

No replacement disc will be sent to you unless the original game disc and a completed claim

form are recieved with a postmark date of August 31, 2008 or earlier.

Mailings with a postmark date later than August 31, 2008 will not be returned

and you will not receive a replacement disc.

Do not send any packaging from the original Guitar Hero (R) III: Legends of Rock game.

 Please send the game disc only.

On the bak of the "Disk Mailer" is a bunch of useless information by QUALITY PARK PRODUCTS that I don't feel like typing up. Other than that, that's exactly what it's like.
