On the US PS Store for every $50 spent you will get a free $10 code in November. So effectively pre-ordering a game on the PSN  of the select upgradeable titles will get you the PS4 version for free! That's 2 games on 2 platforms for the price of one, and you get to keep both copies! 

Honestly, I wasn't even thinking about getting any next gen titles for my PS3, but now with no cost of upgrade I might get 1 or 2. (o:

lol, not what i was expecting to see. i was hoping for a ps3/ps4 crossbuy announcement. but this works too a suppose, if you're into digital of course.

he's saying there is a sale that if you spend $50 (AC4 costs $60) sony gives you $10 in psn credit in november which incidently is the exact price to upgrade AC4 on ps3 to AC4 on ps4.   ...so effectively it's a free upgrade if you want to earmark your money to that but really it's just money you can spend any way you want.

Yeah man, but if it is like Assassins Creed 3 I will stay away from it. That game played iself, i was really boring and handholding, very frustrating to be treaed like a idiot. See GA5 and The Last of Us, they were so rewarding, a real joy o dive into. Ubisoft should have a little more faith in the gamers inteligence, AC1 was not like that, it was actually very interesting, it HAD some work and deduction to be done, AC3 is just a bore fest that small children play and say "Look Daddy, I am doing it!!"
