Forums - General - Clean sweep for Obama

Barack Obama has won all three Democratic contests today, winning the Louisiana primary and the Washington State and Nebraska caucuses.

The GOP results are more complicated, though Huckabee crushed McCain in Kansas and is running ahead in Louisiana.

Maine is tomorrow. Clinton should be favored there, but Obama has won eight of ten caucus states so far.

Edit: My apologies to the U.S. Virgin Islands, who also held their primary today. Obama won there too, and apparently took every delegate - all three of them.

Clean sweep as in he got all of the delegates, or merely that he got majority votes in those 3 states?

You can find me on facebook as Markus Van Rijn, if you friend me just mention you're from VGchartz and who you are here.

He won all three contests, though the delegates will be divided roughly proportioately. In Washington and Nebraska, though, it was over two-to-one, so he'll get a huge boost in pledged delegates tonight.

He's still a tool and will lose eventually.

Co-Sign, I never thought the Giants stood a chance against the Patriots and look what happened. Who is to say Obama can't do the same?

Yea Obama did a large campaign down here in Louisiana so not surprising that he won, as Clinton ads were hardly found.
