Sony Computer Entertainment is planning to add several more video games to the Essentials line of budgeted titles for the Playstation 3. According to a listing update from the German branch of Amazon on Sept. 17, the publisher will be re-releasing three of their software products later this year under the new branding.
The most prominent video game on the list is“Playstation All-Stars Battle Royale.” The crossover fighting game, which came out last year, was developed by SuperBot Entertainment with help from Sony Computer Entertainment Santa Monica Studio. The new Essentials re-release will also come with the cross-buy feature as players can download the Playstation Vita version of the same title for free.
The other two titles that are going to be added to the Essentials budgeted line are “LittleBigPlanet Karting” and “Sports Champions 2.” The former was developed by United Front Games with additional support from Media Molecule while Sony Computer Entertainment San Diego Studio and Zindagi Games worked on the latter.
Sony Computer Entertainment is the publisher behind “Playstation All-Stars Battle Royale,” “LittleBigPlanet Karting” and “Sports Champions 2.” The three titles will be re-released with the new 19.99 EUR price tag on Nov. 1.
