Your trying too hard to justify yourself. Sony is a media company, but a money-losing media company. There is a difference. Xbox media capabilities are no slouch, and in terms of media apps, it is more robust then what PS offers. "Newsflash, most people buy coonsoles for games and nothing more. period" Ok grandpa. Times are changing. People want consoles that do more then just games. Period. Your percieved golden days of games-only consoles are dead. Deal with it. "Backwards compatibility is important, it is the most requested feature of next gen consoles." Don't know where this comes from but every generation statistics are released that show it is actually the least requested feature, that only the vocal minority moan and whine about it. These "features" come from Kinect. For gaming its usefulness remains to be seen but for media control, content searching, and friend connectivity, it sets it apart from PS. |
LOL, Sony is a media company but a losing money one is relevant one how? They have been profitable for several quarters now and will continue to be , strawman argument, that has nothing to do with anything.
Times are not changing, MS reversal shows it. People buy consoles because of games first and foremost, this won't change.
Check the PS blog, Backwards compatibility is the most demanded feature, where is your proof it is the least? Simply false. GAmers always ask for backwards compatiblity.
The ps3 is more robust media device then the 360 and by a wide margin. The 360 has terrible support for file formats.
Kinect voice is not a reason to buy anx1, voice is a gimmick people don;t need. People already have cable from dozens of sources, and with xi you still need your existing cable, that's simply retarded. MS did a reversal and have not really mentioned these features for a reason. Because they know people buy consoles for gaming period.
The x1 has zero of the ps4 andf is more expensive.
