"Tretton said that the PlayStation 4's advantages over Microsoft's Xbox One was the game lineup and $100 cheaper price."
If Sony only thinks that the advantage to their system is $100 and games, then M$ is right that the systems performance are pretty much equal.

"Three key advantages, we’ve got the most powerful console on the market, $100 cheaper than our competition and, most importantly, the biggest most diverse exclusive lineup of any platform ever launched. And that’s what’s really going to drive the sales for us in the long term."  ~jack

Just watched the interview. Is it that hard to get a interviewer who actually knows something about gaming to conduct the interview? And some of the graphs they showed are just laughable. The gaming divisions for both Sony and MS account for just a fraction of their corporate business. Their stock prices are hardly an accurate representation of the "console war".

That either means they'll have a lot in stock, or it will sell less than expected.

Unless their expectations were unreasonable I think they are and will be very pleased come November/December.

He mentioned 3 points. More power, cheaper price and more exclusive games.

The "paraphrased article above is what i had quoted.  I hadn't watched the video.  That's kind of why i made that point.  It seemed odd that Sony would omit that.

Guess I'll cancel my order then. Can't make $$ on eBay if its in stock.

Did you notice how that part isnt quoted but paraphrased?   I believe this is the exact quote

edit: Go to 4:05 of the video interview

the bolded isn't true and the point that is true isn't an advantage. sony should think some more before making these coments.

right, sony doesn't consider the biggest company in the business as competition.
