Maybe put it closer to the router, the wifi sucks too. It takes at least 5 times longer to download stuff in the living room then when I have the ps3 closer to the router. (My WiiU can hardly stay connected in the living room)
That doesn't help with the stupid install times. I never wait for stuff to download anymore -> turn off system after download (+install) option, then play the next day.


Btw I'm getting slightly annoyed at Steam always getting a free pass. I bought anti chamber 2 days ago, purchase went through, but the game didn't show up in the library. I go to the store page, click play, Steam hangs. I restart it and it only says connecting steam account, nothing else happens. I log in on a browser, game is present in my library, Steam simply won't start.

Next day, Steam starts again, the game is there. Oh wait, installing vc redist package step 1/3. Seems to hang again, no progress bar, but 5-10 minutes later the game starts! Oh crap it works like shit with a track pad, no controller support. Search online for a solution, locate and change ini files, and it works!

I've never had any problems like that with Steam itself. It's not "giving it a free pass," it's Steam running circles around PSN consistently in my experience.

But when there's another client on top of it, like GFWL...ugh...
