You want to know what was disrespectful? The entire intitial XBone reveal.

Edit - By the way, I never use it as a means for disrespect. I use it because:

A.) It is much easier to write than XBox One.

B.) It sounds cool.

I just say XOne or X1. But yes Xbone is very disrespectful and as some one pointed out to me before its weird it doesnt get moderated. Ill post the exact message below (Not me saying it). To clarify this person left the site a long time ago.  But i do agree with his point.

Banned for using XBone? Why? I use it not because it's meant in disrespect but because I found it a good abreviation that was shorter than Xbox One, sounded fun. Maybe you should be less hurt by a term that doesn't meant anything. I couldn't care less what people called the Pee$4 or Wee (on) You.... PSFatter? 3Di... that's a bit rude actually.

Shorter versions would be X1, XBO, or Xone.  All shorter.   And he said warnings should be given because yes some mean it to be disrespectful. Especially when people say Xboner or The Bone. As he said, I guaruntee if people did similar things with NIntendo and Sony they will be banned.  Not saying the mods are biased but it is the way it works.

I explained in sufficiently short, easy to understand detail why your opinion, albeit your opinion, is erroneous, unintelligent, and therefore inaccurate and wrong.

Bone is a derogatory term.  Therefor to shorten Xbox One to "xbone" is derogatory.

Just because you think you're clever and smart by using it, doesn't mean you are.  We all think lots of things, it doesn't mean we're right.  Even when lots of people say or do the same thing as we do, it doesn't make us right, it just means a lot of other people aren't as smart or clever as they want to believe they are. 

Maybe they should have used another name for xbox one if they didn't want people using xbone.  They brought it upon themselves.  Sounds like a crybaby to me.  Did Nintendo get all butt hurt when people made dick and piss jokes about the Wii name?

I didn't say that i liked or used "xbone".  What I clearly indicated was that M$ only brings more attenetion to it by talking about it at all.  I indicated that I like to use XB1.  Apparently, my answer wasn't "sufficiently short, easy to understand detail" for you.  Debating slang meanings as one thing or another is "unintelligent", as slang itself has no true meaning.  If you had read my response and didn't have your rage glasses on, you would have clearly seen that I was stating more of how M$ put themselves in the spot, not whether it is right or wrong for someone to use the term "xbone".
