Square Enix has hinted that it’s unlikely we’ll see Kingdom Hearts 3 and Final Fantasy XV released around the same time.

Kingdom Hearts series producer Shinji Hashimoto explained the situation to IGN:

So at E3 this year we announced Kingdom Hearts III and Final Fantasy XV. Both have Tetsuya Nomura as their director, so we can’t create these two big games at the same time.

It’s a difficult job, as we want each game to be perfect in terms of quality.

 

Since Nomura is involved on both games, hopefully Final Fantasy XV will be out in 2014 while Kingdom Hearts 3 comes out in 2015. Considering Final Fantasy XV is essentially Final Fantasy Versus XIII, the game should have been out already.

I don't see the problem, I mean can someone explain this to me?  They can't make both games at once because one guy isn't gonna be there all the time?  Tetsuya said he already knows how the story in KH3 is gonna unfold so why can't he spend one day and explain that to his team then they can spend months making the cut scenes and stuff while he makes FF 15.  Or why can't the team make the different worlds while hes busy with FF15.  I just don't understand why he needs to be there all the time for them to make both games at the same time.

The funny thing is for KH 1.5 HD Remix they lost all the data on KH and had to start over and SE said it only took 2 people to make that game.  Maybe a normal port or HD or whatever would only take 1 person.

I still find that story about losing the original data to be a bit suspicious.

You would think if not Squareenix (who is pretty big enough) but Disney as well to have a back up of the original code and data.

What makes you say the HD collection had a late release?  I don't think it had a late release, they have been coming out with 1 KH game every year since 2007 or 2008, its not like they haven't been doing anything with the series.  The localization of KH Final Mix is late lol.

Well maybe not late release but its just odd dont you think?

If they lost the data to KH and it was legit - what is their excuse for FFX HD :P?


I thought they were making extra missions and other extra content for that game?  Not 100% sure.

Extra missions? You mean the International version content o.O?

 

Well who knows but the suppose release date that is rumored doesnt seem to be such a good idea since it would go in collision with FFXIII LR lol.


Well I know it has a new ending that is 30 min long, with dem CGI graphics and we all know how much you love dem graphixxx Basil!
