Before the last guardian was released people were calling this game "Trico" just so that we knew it was the next game made by team Ico. Fair enough. Then in 2009 TLG trailer is shown and it looks like a great new game. Then we get to 2010 when Sony start making these HD collections of older games for the release of the newer games on the PS3 by lump games together. GOW, SLY, and the ICO games. Sony wanted you to but GoW 3, Sony wanted you to buy Sly 4. Sony wanted you to buy The Last Guardian. When Sony did this it showed that Sony and ICO wanted these those games out again together before TLG was out so in my mind the delays made it so that these games are all linked together. You even say yourself that they are in the same universe. Neither of us know how TLG will play out or if it ever will come out but I hope it does and maybe it will link all of the games together into a nice small narative. We will find out later or later.

Yes, but how does any of this prove that its not a new IP? The two titles that team ICO has made have been different IP's set in similar places that play completely different from one another and have a different type of survival feel and a different type of suspense without overblown storylines. Ico makes the journey's tell the story, which is rare. Very few companies have mastered this art.

Its important to the fans, but not as a commercial venture. Having said that I think the Hype would make it sells well above Shadow of the collosus's sales, but still I think its 2m seller. Nothing crutial like Uncharted or Grand Turismo.
