Forums - Microsoft - Microsoft: "industry experts" say Xbox One has "a better line-up", gamers "don't buy for stats"

Tagged games:

I love how they say it's all about Kinect, and then say it's all about the games.

he right that a majority of gamers won't care about the "statistical capabilities"(I consider myself a seasoned gamer and I can't make heads or tails on the tech inside XB1/PS4) However people will pay attention $100 difference; say what you will MS but good luck explaining why I should have to pay(and other buyers) $100 more to enjoy your console especaily when games(on the multiplat side) will look the same or atleast the statistical capabilities will be meaningless.

Let see which one is more important this November, better lineup or better price.

How would we know?

Wii U has both of them...

I'm talking about ps4/xbox one only.  IMO there's a lot of people waiting for Xbox one/ps4 launch to decide which one to get without considering Wii U.  90% of multiplatform share between ps4 and xbox one is one of the reasons.  So one of the console has the games, the other has the price and I really curious to know in what route people would go, for the better price? or better games?.

I disagree. I think they both have bad line-ups.

Wich one is better depends on personal taste.

agreed, the WiiU and 3DS have (imo) the best koliday line ups

...but that may you be me

I don't know why they act like PS4 doesn't do media. And i don't agree, each line up looks the same to me. Ps4 having the edge with the Indys and ftp games. Right out of the box you should be able to play about 5 or 6 games, ( i think)
For free. So yeah, that the real winner here.

I agree with that. Though the PS3 also has a pretty good line-up. Probably the best one. But if were talking next-gen and portables then yes.

I suppose preorders show otherwise.

e=mc^2

Gaming on: PS4 Pro, Switch, SNES Mini, Wii U, PC (i5-7400, GTX 1060)

The PS3 is amazing as well, but as you said, I was talking about 8th Generation consoles/handhelds

Well, the Xbox One got better line up so he is right about that.
As far as the reason why people are buying systems, I have some doubts :)

Opinion, a launch line up is irrelavant if down the years the other system gets more support. And we need a good 2 years to make any judgement concerning that.

I'm quite confident on MSs capacity to deliver as since 2011 they formed bunch of internal studios and strengthened the existing ones.
