Forums - Microsoft - Video Leak Shows Xbox One Dashboard

Looks okay, too bad it's going to be ruined with advertisements.

Sorry but as it has been stated there are no outside/third-party ads as there previously were.  I.e. no Jack Links or Dorrito's ads.  There will be recommendations and notifications of new content, but they will be geared toward your actual interests and games.

Looks slick. And thats just the beta. Love the 3 tiered OS in action. And Ryse looks amazing.

Based on a patent, the Games store will be even slicker.  You don't break out of the UI to go into the Games store.  The UI explodes out and overlays the existing UI.  As you go deeper, focus changes dimming the previous UI features (or that could just be the way the patent image was drawn).

It's like if you click a tile and all of a sudden the Media Center interface popped up, but you could still see the dashboard.  So initially you go up and down, then you make a selection and you go side to side, then up and down, etc.  The first layer may be how the games are organized, the second layer how they're sub-categorized, and then finally actual games.  When you stop on an actual game, once again floating on the screen is your game info.

It should prove interesting.  Though, once again that was a patent.  What the actual UI is doing, I can't say.

Wow the console sure does collect finger prints.

One side does.  One half is glossy, the other side is matte.

Looks like the user deleted the video. Good thing someone else copied the video and posted it.

Jackson not only deleted the video, but the channel as well.

I think it looks pretty kool.

Ah the wonders of viral marketing.

At least the metro interface makes more sense with a controller, I hate the scrolling with a track pad, not using it on windows 8. Hopefully it is like win 8 where you can remove all the tiles you don't want.

Come again?

It looks really nice. I can handle some ads as long as they are relevant to me.

Looks as good as I thought (yes, I like Windows 8).

You've got to admit that leaking a shaky cam video that just shows enough to be exciting works much better to reach the core gamers then some boring pr rep explaining the layout of the OS.
