Um have people forgot how awful PS3 multiplats looks when it launched???

If PS4 really is easier to develop for, than this is the same situation all over again. Shoddy developers, not shoddy hardware.

Actually, PS3's multiplats, for the most part, trailed the 360's throughout the entire gen. And those differences weren't even as big as what we have today.

we have a difference in numbers today, thats all I have seen. battle field is the only thing we have to compare so far, better ps4 numbers with split opinions on what looks better. screen shots were inconsistent with some looking better one one some lookin better on he other, videos showed no real differece. so far this big diverence is just numbers and terms. End result what difference?

I have said it before and I will say it again, if the difference is as big as the Sony diehards claim, why wouldn't the PS4 titles be a big step up from X1 games even at launch? Especially if it is as developer friendly as Sony claims.

oh god!

how silly u look right now

”The environment where PlayStation wins is best for this industry” (Jack Tretton, 2009)

While I'm sure next years multiplats will fare better, this has left MS with quite a bit of egg on their face.

There were more differences than just numbers, my friend. Any review or Digital Foundry would best aid you, here. Never mind that the difference between 720p and 1080p is not slight.

Ok I will not pretend to be a God of technical jargin like some people try to and end up more looking like puppets.

From what I understand we have a diference not of reselution but a diference in how the same reselution is achieved. Two words, "native" and "upscaled". Native is being praised because it is somehow more built into the game......or something. But at the end, if no labels of the system they were running on were revealed, It's a good chance we have xbox one fan boys saying the ps4 version looks better and vice versa.

What is digital Foundry? more people that can tell me what I'm not seeing? I wil pass on that but thanks for the offer.

Thank you.

This gen the better multiplat game's on 360 had better framerates and a very small bump in resolution, like 2% bumps.

Next gen we have a console rendering twice as many pixels, with better framerates, and people really are still downplaying the gap?

This gen will be a fun one.

Why would you believe anything this talking head would say?

This is dumb. If it were that easy the thing wouldn't ship with it still on there. You have to download the patch so how is he wrong? Mountain out of a molehill some of you

And while the Digital Foundry vids were piss poor they still gave the nod to the PS4 version. Anyone wishing to get a good sense on which version is superior (other than the PC version on Ultra) needs to see the jackfrag videos. The PS4s MP is on par with the XB1s SP.

So he flipped a switch and made a patch available!

It still was much easier than he wanted us to belive, which no one logical did anyway.
