Ive seen gameplay of most mario games and im just not a fan at all. I cant stand the majority of nintendo games. I prefer story and games with good characers like mass effect/uncharted/ skyrim etc

Xenoblade, Zelda, Paper Mario, etc :P

havnt played xenoblade, may play it through dolphin never liked zelda, seems to bland and dont like really like mute protangonists and paper mario looks incredibly boring and childish

idk, Paper Mario has this wierd charm, it looks kiddy and boring, yet the story and gameplay are awesome. in Super Paper Mario, you go to the VG equilivant of Hell ^^

Not really feeling this list, but I see where you're coming from with some of the entries.

As far as Final Fantasy VII goes, I wanted to chime in because it's such a controversial topic. I agree it's somewhat overrated, but certainly not to the extent you describe. The problem I find is when VII is ranked above VI, which just doesn't work for me. VI is the deeper, better, more complete game. Don't get me wrong: Final Fantasy VII is one of the best and one of the most important games ever made. It's just not THE best game. Or the best RPG. Or even the best Final Fantasy.

Never. Mostly the opposite.

Higher difficult. Actual challenge in the dungeons. More freedom than TP/not as linear as TP. has magic. Final Boss battle is better, dungeons are more open, bosses have higher difficult, story is important as it splits timeline in 3 and the triforce into 3 pieces, artstyle is better.

TP was just one day when Ganon failed to conquer Hyrule using the Twilight Realm. Nothing important to add to the history of Zelda.

But seriously how is H4 overrated? Has a 87 on metacritic (lowest of all main entry halo games) and half the fanbase hates it.

OT: I agree with most of that list. I would add God of War 2 and 3 (sad because GoW 1 was amazing), Gears of Wars and New Super Mario Bros (all versions).

How is the gameplay bad, and odd how not a single of the 100 reviews thought the gameplay was bad.................Sorry, saying it is overrated is one thing, saying the gameplay is BAD? Is hogwash. The game was outstaning in every area.

 

God of war 2 > 1.

God of War 1 had a meaningful story. It represented a greek tragedy very well. The downfall of a hero who seeks revenge and realize there no escape from what he did. 

God of War 2 is just a bloodshed with no meaning other than "Kill the GOD!!" and God of War 3 is the same.

Not true in the slightest, and 2 had by far the best Sp campaign, and level design.
