A retailer listing discovered Friday suggested that Forza Motorsport 5 for the Xbox One would support 24 players in online racers. A response directly from Microsoft to Examiner.com nixed that information along with a count of new cars though.

Forza Motorsport 5 will support 24 players online and feature "120 cars available from the start" according to a translation of an Amazon France listing that is still active. However, a Microsoft representative says, "not so fast."

"That info came from a Forza Motorsport 5 product description that was on an online retailer site. It was inaccurate and was pulled once we became aware of it. We plan to reveal more details on our car list and multiplayer car count in the coming weeks."

120 new cars nice, so the total car roster should be well over 300 cars. Since it supports 24 players online then it should have some offline races that have up to 16 cars the highest number in Forza 4 was 12 unless you count the races where you have to overtake a certain amount of cars to win a race but those shouldn't really count since they are not really racing against you they are just traffic cars.

120 at the start probably means that after dlc there will be more. But probably around 300-400 cars all together

Forza 3 = 8 cars
Forza 4 = 16 cars
Forza 5 = 24 cars

Can't wait until Forza 27 when there are 200 cars supported and you have to sit in massive traffic jams on Laguna Seca.

120 is the number of new cars that doen't include cars that where in previous Forza games my guess it will launch with at least 300 cars.
