What?

what they are

Triggers that give haptic feedback upon use.  Shooters will get haptic feedback upon each shot.  Racing will emulate engines.

Wheels already do this way better for racing games. Sorry don;t see how that is nothing more then a gimmick that adds zero to games, will be forgotten in 10 mins.

The touchpad for navigation is more innovative then the triggers, that can be real usefull, just like a mouse.

Streaming for backwards compatibility is alo a far better innovation.

Offline play.

for me it will be remote play, if PS4>Vita is as good as WiiU>Gamepad i wont need a TV to game this gen

but shooters don't have any recoil anymore :(

Bet reminder: I bet with Tboned51 that Splatoon won't reach the 1 million shipped mark by the end of 2015. I win if he loses and I lose if I lost.

Then go buy a wheel.   A lot of people don't and use controllers.  Other than that your comment just seems a little too opinionated "Zero and gimmick".

I guess the rumble feature has always been a gimmick and thats why almost every controller uses them today, and why people complained when the first dualshock for PS3 didnt have it. Forcing sony to bring it later on.

That small feature is important to many.

Yes it is, and it is hardly innovative, I mean seriously, a controller rumbling? Pretty low standards if that's innovation. It is just something people got use to, no way are triggers rumbling gonna change anything other then being gimmicky. No one will get one console over another because the triggers rumble, and no way will they accurately depict recoil effects.

I already have a wheel thank you.

using a game forum as some kind of argument? Where less then 1% of the game population reside. i never said some people didn't want it, they got used to having it, but, innovative? no, different goal posts for your argument.

Maybe you shouldnt use the word gimmicky so much.  It is meant to give you more direct feedback and just as rumble accomplished that, so will added impulse triggers.  But honestly you aren't looking for discussion here.  You're just spewing out "Your right information.  I'm always right, just ask me I'll tell you."  So i will leave you to your opinion, but dont lie and think you are the only person in the world.  Rumble is important to people and that has been proven.

You're welcome???

people liking, used to having something <> Innovation.

Impulse triggers an innovation? Sorry but it seems like a fine addition to the Xbox controller but it isn't a big innovation. It won't be big.

The cloud could be useful but I don't see it being a big thing.

The one thing I think is a great innovation is the streetpass function as someone said here! Also I think many people underestimate the gameplay possibilities of the Wii u gamepad and it's interaction with the TV.

"I've Underestimated the Horse Power from Mario Kart 8, I'll Never Doubt the WiiU's Engine Again"

I could post these for days as people were pissed.  And I guss a few of these people bought the X360 for rumble or in some cases just chose not to buy PS3.
