Forums - Nintendo - Activision wouldn't count Nintendo out, will help Nintendo if they can and more

I got bored of COD after MW2. Played MW3 only to know the story. Activision is hated by all. But they are better than many other developers. Sure, they milk they games a lot but they dont put online pass or microtransactions in COD. Plus they helped veteran military people. Actually they are not bad as people perceive them.

Activision releases one impacting game a year lol and it is not going exclusive. How will they help?

They do Skylanders too which was popular on Wii.

Anyhow they don't have to come out and say this, the ball is entirely in third parties court, so it's nice of Activision to give WiiU owners some peace of mind, even if it is only COD and Skylanders.

I know, didn't meantion it because it won't change the general consensus regarding it's third party support. I also forgot that destiny is coming next year, but i don't think it will be on wii ui.

Then where's Diablo III for the Wii U? ;p

Give us CoD DLC and bring Destiny over.

I don't know why Wii U owners want third party games, they won't sell that well. The Wii U is nothing but a secondary console. If you have a Wii U, in the future, you'll either have a PS4/X1, or a PC. Nintendo just isn't going for the same market as Sony and Microsoft.

Dem feels (^-^)

Call of Duty is a big franchise and they did build amazing features for the Wii U multiplayer mode. I know the only reason it's coming to Wii U is the game is built on powerpc architecture. And one reason destiny isn't coming is it's built on x86. Of coarse they can port, but that would take more money than it's worth right now.

But atleast they aren't bullshi**ing around like Bethesda and Gearbox.

Given that Activision is a publisher, I'd compare them to EA.

Both have had a rough start on WiiU, after all CoD was supposed to sell sh*tloads on the platform, and yet one is smart enough to try at least a second time while the other... well, we all know what happened with EA.

OT: Kudos to them. At least they know that the market can change when you least expect it, and that it's not a good idea to risk their relationship with one of the console manufacturers so early in the gen.

isn't Destiny coming to PS360 too? :P

Last xmas I bought BLOPS2 and Skylanders with a ton of those damn figures.

This xmas I'm not buying either. I would have likely gotten destiny tho... just tossing that out there.

Guess again, Wii U is my primary console, and i wont be buying into Sony/Microsoft this gen. It prob will be quite a few peoples primary choice too. The gaming industry doesnt revolve around just Sony/ Microsoft.
