With Titanfall creating such a massive buzz and looking to be a contender for taking CoD's crown, and 360 being the cheapest way to play it, I wouldn't be surprised if it did have a resurgence.

REALLY?

Actually 360 won most of the time, but usually not by a huge margin. Except for the year of Kinect and the year after, it's really been even with PS3/360.
However if this weren't the case and 360 did consistantly outpace PS3 over the holidays, my question would be: With what exclusive games to boost sales?
PS3 will sell better this fall, MS abandoned the 360 and people know it. Plus PS3 has Beyond: 2 Souls, Gran Turismo 6, and The Last of Us is still fresh.

Not a chance, what does the xbox 360 have that can compete with gran turismo?

That Game will hardly be a system seller, seeing as it's a multiplatform game, and it's a timed console exclusive

thats why my comment was dripping with sarcasm
360 is dead in the water, if anyone genuinely thinks microsoft will support it more than 6 months after xbox one hits retail theyre in for a shock, only sony is known to back a console after a new one replaces it, as shown with the ps1, ps2, psp, and soon the ps3.
everyone else lets their consoles die the second they have something new on the market. (or 6 months to a year prior in some nintendo cases)

What does that matter outside of fan arguments? Looking at the PS3 chart I posit that CoD and Fifa are significantly responsible for more PS3 consoles sold than any exclusive, aside from GT5 maybe.
so when is this happening again? It's very obvious this won't happen at any point.
