Ok then how many wiiu's will be sold then since there is no demand? Its at 3.4mil now! How many units will wiiu have by 2014?

Sales jumped about 79% when Pikmin launched, and Pikmin is, at best, 1/4 as big as 3D Mario, 1/20th as big as Wii Fit, 1/4 as big as Wii Party U, and one third as big as DK.

Lmao... Man that is the best joke ever. Yes even though that is 5 times what any launch console has sold It will be easy for Sony to do it...Even though its more expensive then PS2 and Wii at launch. Doesn't have the exclusive franchises that PS2 had.

My prediction is the pre orders are a lie. Even if it was most are ebayers looking to make money. I predict 2 million at most by years end

Quick and easy answer: No.

More complicated and fleshed out answer: Not a chance, especially not with Wii U now being $100 cheaper, a Zelda bundle, and big hitters like Wii Fit, Mario, DK, Zelda, Sonic, etc. coming out. In fact I'll go so far as to say that Wii U will sell more from the time of PS4's launch till the end of the year, just in that time-frame alone.

Sorry if Im pessimistic and have low expectations of a console who shipped 160k units in the last 3 months.


In the last 3 months, the Wii U was $350 and had a software drought.

In the upcoming months, the Wii U will be $300 with a bundled game (WWHD), and will be getting software like SM3DW, Sonic LW, DKCTF, WiiFit, Wii party, Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Winter games.

So don't be acting like not much would have changed from how it was the last 3 months.
