Forums - Sony - Vita Question of the Week: Do I have to live in Japan to be able to properly enjoy a Vita?

Uk and I'm enjoying my vita, never once have imported nor do I ever plan to.

PS One/2/p/3slim/Vita owner. I survived the Apocalyps3/Collaps3 and all I got was this lousy signature.

Xbox One: What are you doing Dave?

Depends on what you like. Support is certainly better in Japan though. Vita has alot to like thanks to PS+ though

Xbox Series, PS5 and Switch (+ Many Retro Consoles)

Prediction: Switch 2 will outsell the PS5 by 2030

Definitely not.

The issue with the Vita's line is that it doesn't make people say "darn, I have to have that system". But there a ton of games on it which are great fun and affordable, arguably more then the 3DS. It just a case of whether you discriminate against
1. Indie titles
2. Multiplatform experiences.

Chances are once you have the system in your hands you won't discrimate against such things, for a great experience is a great experience, and for me personally the Vita is the ideal way to play smaller games, and old classics.

I'm currently playing Spelunky, Final Fantasy Tactics and Little Kings New Story.

I am having a blast with my Vita in the UK, I don't feel as if there is a shortage of games for me to choose from, PS+ contributes, however even more games and genre choice is never a bad thing. Japan seems to me to be the land of the handheld so I am not surprised that there is more focus there, so of course both Sony and Nintendo will release more specific games in that market, still I don’t feel as though I am missing out.
