Sony hit with more layoffs, getting partners and exclusive content cost money. Sony won't last in that department in the long run.



I agree with the idea, but I disagree that it's accurate. Sony also has their share of flirting with established IPs.

maybe the wrong tactic for the us market where the same old shooters and sports games dominate the market and where only megahyped games(in most cases the same old fps with new names and max. 1 new gimmick)have the chance to compete with the old die hard ip's.



It's cheaper to get content on less proven franchises.

If they could snatch up CoD content or FIFA stuff, they'd do it in a heartbeat.
