how come in dmc4 dantes company is called "devil may cry" but at the end of the first game it is changed to "devil never cry"

It seems pretty obvious. His company at the end of Devil May cry is "Devil Never Cry". Now during DMC4 the Company's name is "Devil May Cry" again.  Ignoring the previous canon change.
